Tips for the event!

Lots of you have been messaging us and asking questions about the event. Here are your top ten questions about the event answered:

1. Where is the event?

In Metheringham Scout hall and on the playing field, behind the Star and Garter pub.

2. Where can I park?

There’s limited parking in Metheringham, so we encourage you to use public transport or taxis where possible. There are three public car parks less than 5 minutes walk from the event on Prince’s Street, Middle Street and High Street (behind the Co-Op).

3. Can I bring a marquee?

Sorry, no marquees. Camping chairs, large umbrellas and small beach tents are fine.

4. Can I bring my own alcohol?

Sorry, that’s another no. We have plenty of alcohol on site at reasonable prices and we hope you will help us in supporting local causes by buying it! We will be allowing water in sealed bottles, but please no glass.

5. Can I bring food?

Snacks are fine (we’re not going to turn you away for bringing a chocolate bar!), but please no picnics or BBQs. We have fish and chips, hog roast and curry on jacket potatoes on site as well as a variety of sweet treats and ice cream. Please help support our local food vendors.

6. How do I exchange my drinks ticket/QR code for tokens?

There will be a token stand on the playing field after you enter the event. You can show your QR code there in exchange for tokens.

7. Is it cash only payment for drinks tokens?

We can’t accept cards at the token stand, but our web site will remain live throughout the event, so you can purchase tickets online using your card and exchange at the token stand by showing your QR code.

8. Can I bring my dog?

Unfortunately not. As a child-friendly event we can’t allow dogs, no matter how friendly.

9. What time does it start?

Gates open at 3PM and the first live music act starts at 4:15PM.

10. Do I need to bring ID?

Yes! We will be operating a strict challenge-25 policy on the gate.
